As the Scheduling and Controls Lead, Amy forecasts the practice’s workload and balances project timelines. Her work supports the anticipation and planning of project resources, ensuring that no project is without the necessary capacity to achieve success and that no one is beyond their limit to fulfill their project role. 

Ashley leads FBM’s Technical Department and helps advance the overall quality of construction documents. In addition to coordinating the largest team at FBM, she oversees document production and quality control of some of FBM's most complex projects. Ashley is instrumental in advancing building science and technological knowledge at the firm. She holds a Bachelor of Technology from Memorial University, as well as a diploma in Architectural Technology. She is also Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) through Tech Nova.

Debra ensures the smooth functioning of FBM's operations. Working closely with Directors, Debra's exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail foster strong relationships with our industry peers, optimizes efficiency, and delivers operational excellence. She sits on many of FBM's committees and is a resource for all staff on all things FBM. Originally from Nova Scotia’s North Shore, Debra holds a BPR from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax.

Dennis has amassed over forty years of significant experience in the field of healthcare architecture. Arguably the most experienced healthcare architect in Atlantic Canada, Dennis leads FBM's portfolio of new and renovated healthcare facilities. Dennis has been awarded the Nova Scotia Lieutenant Governor’s Award of Merit for the design of the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, and the Colchester East Hants Health Centre in Truro. More recent notable projects include the Emergency Department Addition and Renovation at the Halifax Infirmary, the new Hybrid OR and Interventional Suites at the Halifax Infirmary, and the new NICU and PICU Renovations at the IWK. Dennis has extensive hands-on experience combined with current knowledge of healthcare planning and design, and most importantly for clients, an intuitive and educated understanding of staff, clinical, and patient needs.

Erin's experience encompasses designs for corporate offices, government work places, residential, retail, hospitality, healthcare, hotels and resorts, fitness centers, retail spaces, healthcare facilities, commercial kitchens, and front of house designs for restaurants, bars, and cafés. Her work has taken her from New Zealand to the UAE, and finally back to her home city of Halifax where she now leads FBM's Interior Design team creating considered spaces for work, leisure, and living. A licensed Interior Designer, Erin graduated from Ryerson University (Bach.ID).

Kieron’s portfolio includes work for municipalities, developers, architects, and retailers across Canada. His areas of expertise lie in land use planning, economic market analysis, retail gap analysis, master planning, development strategies and downtown/main street enhancement and revitalization strategies. As a long-standing member of the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) he has served in numerous national and local leadership roles, as well as a contributing author to industry publications and articles. Originally from the west coast and educated in Vancouver (BA, Cert. Urban Studies), Kieron is a frequent speaker on topics such as planning, market analysis, main streets and economic development.

Matt manages some of the largest and most complex projects at FBM. A skilled designer, Matt has worked on many award-winning projects at multiple scales. He brings a calm cooperative attitude to his work that enables his projects to advance. Originally from Nova Scotia’s South Shore and educated in Montreal (B.Comm) and Halifax (M.Arch), Matt’s projects are both deeply contextual and contemporary.

Nikki coordinates the firm’s major project pursuits. A skilled writer and communicator, and with specialties in marketing and graphic design, Nikki’s persuasive narratives and visual story telling have helped the firm win several major public sector projects and design awards. Nikki also manages the firm’s communications channels including spearheading an overhaul of the FBM website with colleagues.

Shawn manages a specialty area of practice at FBM that deals with the building exterior and envelope—in particular roofing, masonry, wall construction, and foundation waterproofing. Shawn maintains professional curiously in the building science field, building on FBM's reputation for the quality of roofing and envelope assessments, systems, and design.
